After you book
Booking takes a day; the passage takes a week. What the weather will do, where you can anchor, what to check before casting off — it is all in the same app you found the boat in.
Start with ready-made lists: cast-off checks, safety equipment, engine and fuel. Readiness rises as you tick items off, so nothing is quietly skipped.
Wind direction and speed for your position, gusts, Beaufort force, wave height and period, sea temperature and pressure — with an hourly strip and a daily summary.
A judgement instead of a raw number: wind and gusts are read together and turned into a clear call — good to go, take care, or not today.
Record every passage: departure and arrival ports, times, distance, engine hours, fuel, crew and notes. Export the logbook as a PDF and share it.
Boat name, type, length, home port, call sign and MMSI in one place. Add expiry dates for insurance and registration and get a reminder before they run out.
Get a notification at the hour you choose, based on tomorrow's wind. Notifications are scheduled on your device; no data goes to any server.
Coves and routes
Coves and beaches around you, listed with their distance in nautical miles. Pick a few — the app orders them nearest-first, draws the legs and gives you the total distance.
For partners
Someone opening ViraCheck is not daydreaming about a holiday. They are checking the wind, ticking off a pre-departure list, drawing a route. The charter link gets tapped at that moment — the intent is already there.
